Upcoming Online Program
Discarding Color: Learning to See in Black and White
Join us for this online program from the comfort of your home on Saturday, March 14 @ 10:00 AM, as a warm-up for our in-person workshop on B/W Photography on Saturday, April 25th.
Presentation Description:
Rather than just converting your color images to black and white in post, wouldn’t it be better if you could see the potential of a scene, portrait or still life object as a black and white image while you were shooting? We will cover: visualization, scene evaluation, lighting, seeing contrast, understanding brightness values of colors as they convert to black and white, as well as some post processing tips. The goal is to get you thinking differently while shooting. The instructor will demonstrate how to approach an image from start to finish.
