Introduction to Gold Rush

Gold Rush is a chapter of PSA (Photographic Society of America), with a board of volunteer photographers dedicated to bringing more photographic opportunities to the Sacramento area--at very affordable prices. Gold Rush provided quarterly day-long photography programs in Sacramento for many years, and currently has a format offering photography presentations in the morning, followed by a no-host lunch and an afternoon photo shoot based on the morning programs. Gold Rush also offers online photo programs throughout the year.

The highlights of Gold Rush are the quarterly in-person workshops on a variety of photographic topics, selected with input from the membership. We’ve had programs on Portraiture, ICM, Playing with Light, Street Photography, Macro, etc., with many more interesting programs to come!

Online Photo Programs

Attend online Zoom meetings from the comfort of your home as you learn and share new techniques and ideas with fellow photographers.
