An Overview of Photography

October 19, 2024

8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Presenters: Neil & Susan Sullivan

Proram Description

THE MAKING OF A GREAT PHOTO:
This is an opportunity to review the fundamentals of good digital photography-- getting sharply focused photos, good exposures, photographing in different lighting conditions and be inspired for creating unique powerful fun photos.

We will cover the technical aspects, such as focus, exposure, clarity, and lighting as well as compositional and artistic elements. Whether you are new to photography with a new camera or just want to refresh your skills, this day will be great for you. Both your skill level and your artistic "eye" will improve. You will be creating photos with impact that tell the story you want to share.

We believe that quality dominates over quantity and by understanding both the technical choices and the artistic compositional elements you will bring your photos to a “standing ovation”.

Neil and Susan strive to inspire their students with knowledge, insight and techniques to create new pathways of individual expression.
