Rick Hulbert presented an online program on Street Photography to Gold Rush in September, and it was so good we invited him back for a program on Symmetry!
Join us for "The Joy of Symmetry in Photography . . .Documenting & Creatively Re-Imagining the Natural & Constructed Environment" on Saturday, November 22 @ 10:00 AM.
The Zoom link will be sent out to registered and paid participants the day before the program. The Zoom room will open at 9:45 AM. Attendees will be put in a Zoom waiting room until the host opens the doors at 9:45 AM.
New Information and Process: Attending this presentation will be a two-step process.
First, you need to register for the event.
Secondly, you need to pay a $5.00 non-refundable fee to attend the event; This is a necessary change as we pay our presenters decently and we are spending $ faster than we were bringing it in!
Step 1: Register for the event. This adds your name to the list to ensure you get the emails with the Zoom link for attendance and the Zoom link for the recording of the event.

Step 2: Payment
There is a $5.00 fee to attend. Still a deal! Please be aware that there will be no refunds if you cannot attend. Within three days of the presentation, you will receive a link to the recording. You will have two weeks to watch the presentation at your convenience.

PROGRAM: Rick will explore how creativity can capitalize on people’s enjoyment of symmetry. Rick will explain, via examples, how “Curiosity” and “Play,” along with a dose of “Inspiration” can result in some creative uses of symmetry in artistic photography. Rick’s presentation is designed as a learning experience to be enjoyed by all photographers, regardless of one’s level of experience and expertise.
BIOGRAPHY: Rick Hulbert’s photography is informed from his background as a Professional Architect, Urban Designer, and Musician. He is an "Academician" of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts, and a “Fellow" of The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. His teachings reflect his knowledge of the History of the 2-Dimensional Arts of Drawing and Painting along with the Sciences of Human Vision.
