The Photographic Society of America Gold Rush Chapter is an organization of interested amateur and professional photographers who want to improve their photographic skills and share their images with others. We have interesting workshops by professionals as well as exciting photographic shows. Check here for membership information.
Quarterly meetings and luncheons are held at the Red Lion Hotel at Arden Village, 1401 Arden Way, Sacramento, California. News of the meetings and presenters can be read in the quarterly newsletter "The Gold Rush Nugget". Click the name to read or download a copy.
The Gold Rush Chapter covers a geographical area of 31 counties in northern and central California and six counties in Nevada. The counties in California are Alpine, Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, El Dorado, Fresno, Glenn, Kern, Kings, Lassen, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, Modoc, Mono, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Stanislaus, Sutter, Tehama, Tulare, Tuolumne, Yolo and Yuba. The counties in Nevada are: Churchill, Douglas, Lyon, Ormsby, Storey and Washoe.
There are currently 16 camera clubs in the Gold Rush Chapter.
